Wallace - Zula Gains (sic), 105, of Wallace died at 10:30 p.m. Monday in Hoosier Village at Indianapolis where she had resided since 1963. A Wallace area resident most of her life, she was a member of the Yeddo Baptist Church. She was born March 7, 1886 near Wallace to Allen and Suzanna Myers Gooding. Her husband, Charles Gains died in 1949. Survivors include several nieces and nephews in the area. An infant son and 77 brothers and sisters preceded her in death. Graveside services are set for 11 a.m. Thursday in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery with Rev. John Stacy officiating. There will be no calling at Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown. - kbz
